1 Overview

NCS-TT105 smart temperature transmitter adopts fieldbus technology and is a new generation of fieldbus smart temperature transmitter. It is an indispensable field device in process control. The device integrates rich functional modules, which can realize both general detection functions and complex control strategies.

NCS-TT105 adopts digital technology and can be applied to a variety of thermal resistance and thermocouple sensors, with a wide measuring range. The simple interface between the field and the control room greatly reduces the cost of installation, operation and maintenance.

NCS-TT105 smart temperature transmitter supports HART, FF and PA protocols and can be widely used in petroleum, chemical, power plant, metallurgy and other industries.

2 Installation

2.1 Transmitter Installation

Three types of mounting brackets are available:

  • Tube-mounted flat bracket
  • Tube-mounted curved bracket
  • Disk-mounted curved bracket

Corresponding installation methods:

  • Flat bracket tube installation
  • Curved bracket plate installation
  • Curved bracket tube installation

2.2 Hardware Interface

Sensor wiring instructions (two-channel measurement requires the same settings for both channels):

Failure Alarm Setting (HART) When faults such as sensor open circuit, short circuit or AD error are detected, the transmitter outputs alarm current.

  • AL dial switch OFF → alarm current > 21.75 mA
  • AL dial switch ON → alarm current < 3.7 mA

Configuration Protection Setting (HART) Dial switch ON = configuration protected Dial switch OFF = configuration allowed

2.3 Bus Power Interface Power and signal share the same pair of cables (bus cable). Do not share conduits with high-power equipment. Shield wires at both ends should be grounded.
