  • Converts RTD, thermocouple, linear resistance, and millivolt (mV) input signals into a 4–20 mA output with HART 7 communication. Burst mode is supported.
  • Dual-channel sensor input supports sensor hot backup and cross-channel temperature drift monitoring between Sensor 1 and Sensor 2.
  • Hot backup automatically switches the loop output to the healthy sensor when the active channel fails due to an open or short circuit, ensuring uninterrupted process measurement without manual intervention.
  • Supports corrosion detection for 4-wire RTDs and 2-wire thermocouples by monitoring wiring resistance against configurable thresholds (RTD: 5–250 Ω, default 50 Ω; thermocouple: 5–10,000 Ω, default 5,000 Ω).
  • Supports multi-point linearization to improve measurement accuracy beyond standard factory calibration.
  • Advanced device diagnostics comply with the NE107 four-status model (Failure, Function Check, Out of Specification, and Maintenance Required), with independent alarm-level settings for Standard and SIL operating modes.
  • Integrated LCD display and push-button interface enable complete local configuration and diagnostics without requiring a HART modem.
  • Assessed in accordance with IEC 61508-2/-3 and IEC 61511 field-data requirements. Supports SIL 2 safety functions in single-channel (HFT = 0) architecture and SIL 3 in redundant (HFT = 1) architecture.
  • Available with intrinsically safe and flameproof explosion protection, including IECEx Ex ia IIC T6…T4 Ga and ATEX II2G Ex db IIC T6…T4 Gb / II2D Ex tb IIIC T85°C…T110°C Db certifications.
